Developer's kit: Sporty heart rate monitoring apparel

NuMetrex_Top_Gear.jpg Technology integrated into women's apparel is a new dimension that is assuming great popularity and we can't help but beg for more of these. The latest one is the Developer's kit from Textronics (whose textile sensor is used to make one of the most fashionable heart rate sensing sports apparel). The Developer's kit integrates a large selection of Textronics textile sensors (12x), different types of knit tubes with snaps, a knitted chest strap and wrist cuff. 2 transmitters and conductive sewing threads are also juggled in and the transmitters are compatible with most heart analog monitors in the market.

At $100, this richly stuffed toolbox opens a new vista to launch new sport apparel design and heart monitoring apparel. This high tech sport clothing is a new way to say 'Stay Fit!'
