Infants understand dogs better

baby-sitter1.jpg According to new research infants just 6 months old can understand different dog bark with little or no previous exposure to dogs. Babies’ upto six months can match the sounds of an angry growl and a friendly bark to photos of dogs displaying aggressive and welcoming body language. The lead author of the study feels experiments of this kind help us understand how babies learn so rapidly. Emotion is one of the first things babies pick up on in their social world.
