Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Center has started a new program for women who are looking for a way to "jump start" or sustain their recovery from anorexia, bulimia or binge eating. This program is flexible emphasizing on real world skills and techniques that can achieve rapid improvements in the client's ability to cope with stress. Transformational Living Center (TLC) provides training in emotional freedom techniques (EFT), meal planning and preparations, psychodrama, dance/movement therapy, adventure therapy, coping skills, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), co-dependency, healthy communication, relationship development, sexuality, body image, art therapy and women's health. Their treatment also includes "Brain Paint" a new development in neurofeedback that helps improve and restore brain function, and that the client can continue at home after completing residential therapy.
