Spiderman suit to climb skyscrapers

spidy.jpg
When I watch any of the spidey movies I keep wondering that what wonders could we achieve, if we had Spiderman powers. Well a team of scientist in Italy have come up with a formula still at the drawing-board stage for a suit they say would allow the wearer to scale a wall or hang upside down just like the comic book hero. Now you can imagine if we had such powers we could attain so many impossible tasks. It won’t be long before you see people climbing the Eiffel tower with nothing but sticky shoes and gloves to support them. However the practical purpose of this suit that I can see is to help firefighters or space exploration to cleaning skyscrapers.

Their invention is inspired on the natural technology that enables spiders and gecko lizards to cling to concrete, metal or glass. It would work by coating the suit's gloves and boots in microscopic structures called carbon nanotubes.
