Striker’s evacuation chair presented in Las Vegas

Stryker presented its evacuation chair to transfer patients downstairs without lifting at the Safety 2008 in Las Vegas to June 9 to June 11. The chair weighing 34 pounds has a 15-year warranty and can carry patients weighing up to 500 pounds. The tracks at the bottom of the chair work on a friction based breaking system, which helps carry patients through stairs and sloping grounds. The evacuation chair comes handy during evacuation, fire, or power outages.
