Students design digital stethoscope running uClinux

laymanBD.jpg This device which is in its early stage of development is the result of hard work of a team of electrical and computer engineering students at Calvin College. They successfully designed a digital electronic stethoscope running uClinux as its operating system. The device will be developed to record and store high-quality audio data from a patient's body, act as a noise abandoning device and reduce the ambient noise the doctor hears.

Connect to a computer via USB to transfer the audio files the device will of course be very simple, easy to use and accurate.
