Smart cancer detecting bra- a new health enhancing electronic clothing

breast-bra.jpgUsually the purpose of a bra is to support the breast and prevent it from sagging; however Researchers University of Bolton, UK developed a smart bra for breast screening. The main intention of developing this bra is to allow users to detect breast cancer at the earliest possible stage, making a cure much more likely. The smart bra has microwave antennae device implanted into the structure of the bra. Data about each breast is collected by embedded microchips which generate computer-generated images. Creators of this bra feel that this invention which is low-risk, non-invasive, simple-to-use and cost-effective device can provide easily-interpreted data and also at an early stage.

The smart bra is simply the latest development in health-enhancing electronic clothing. We are yet not sure whether this technology turns out to be safe, if it does it will surely beat the self examination which we always fail to remember.
