Double-Amputee fails to make it to the Olympics

double-amputee.jpg This could be termed as victory in defeat. Oscar Pistorius, Double amputee with carbon-fiber “ cheetah” blades has failed to qualify for the Summer’s Olympics in Beijing. The “Blade-runner” ran his personal best of 46.25 seconds, although he missed the needed time in the needed time in 200 meter of 45.55 seconds. The much controversial question of his unfair advantage over-able bodied sprinters was obliterated by the validity of his previous tests. Nevertheless, his ‘Feet’ was commendable.
