Inkjet Printer Company involved in Kidney treatment

hp.jpg Inkjet Printer Company has decided to license its patent for the treatment system of kidney failure. It may sound completely unrelated but its true that HP will allow Home Dialysis Plus, a new company still gathering funding, to use HP's "fluid management" technology used in inkjet printers. Managing dialysis from home becomes necessary as people with kidney problems often have to undergo dialysis treatments several times per day, however home dialysis is prone to errors because the dialysis solution must be mixed precisely. HP printing technology solves that. It allows to create a mixture on the fly as treatment is occurring. HD Plus says the product using HP's technology is 18 months to two years from completion, at which time it will still have to pass FDA trials.
